2020-2021 MASL Gateway Readers Award Final Nominee
As the Carrollton Public Library and the Carrollton High School Library collaborate reading efforts, we bring the GATEWAY READER CHALLENGE! The final nominees for MASL’s 2020-2021 Readers Awards are in the "Participant Program Help" menu for the GATEWAY READERS AWARD.
The purpose of the Gateway Readers Award is to promote literature, literacy and reading in Missouri high schools, and to recognize authors and illustrators of books that are favorites of Missouri students in these grades. Each year, Missouri students in grades 9-12 vote for their favorite book from a list of nominated titles. The Gateway Readers Award is awarded to the author of this book by the Missouri Association of School Librarians.
Congratulations to all authors, illustrators and publishers! These nominated titles will be voted upon by students in March of 2021; the recipients of the awards will be announced at the 2021 MASL Spring Conference.
The Reading Challenge begins with readers in grades 9 -12 picking and reading at least five (5) titles from the list to meet the requirements! Here's the link to MASL's website for the 2020-2021 lists: https://maslonline.org/2020-2021-masl-readers-awards-final-nominees/
Prizes will be handed out in March, 2021!
